Community Impact Speaker's Training

The philanthropic climate is changing. We ask that all partners – experienced and new – attend one of three sessions.  We will cap the sessions at 50 participants on a first-come-first-serve basis.

1.     Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., Executive Board Room and  Friday, August 1, 2019, 3:00 – 5:00 a.m., Executive Board Room

We will review new message presentation; review rally procedures, model introduction/story; “Do’s and Dont's”; pair off and practice.  Full training recommended for new speakers.

Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Agency Council Meeting - Abridged training intended more for experienced speakers/CEOs – never hurts to sharpen our tools!

Please BRING A COMPLETED Storytelling Map to the training.  Remember that stories must describe a successful client (student, family, senior, patient) as defined by your approved indicator.  Example: A student with improved reading/math grades; a patient with improved blood pressure or blood sugar levels; a family with improved credit or increased income, etc.
