Free Be BOLD Concert at Munn Park

Bring your friends and your blankets or lawn chairs for a FREE concert event in Downtown Lakeland!

The evening will start with a Battle of the College Bands at 5:30. Bands from Polk State College, Florida Southern College, and Southeastern University will take turns competing to be named the best college band in Polk County. Audience members can vote for their favorite band by texting a $10 donation to United Way of Central Florida during the event. For those who can’t text to give, kiosks will be set up around the park to take donations by debit or credit card.

Then at 7:00, local favorite Clemons Road will take the stage. Clemons Road is known for getting a party started by blending Country music with an island feel. Influences range from Sublime to Alan Jackson, Dave Matthews to Jimmy Buffet, or Lynyrd Skynyrd to Zac Brown Band.

Food and water/soda vendors will be on hand, but if you have dinner at a participating restaurant, a percentage of the sales will be donated to United Way of Central Florida.
