On November 16, we said goodbye to our 2012 Loaned Executives at a luncheon hosted by
Herschel Morris of CF Industries, the 2012 Loaned Executive Chair. The event was held at the
CF Industries Plant City location and was attended by approximately 40 people, including the
Loaned Executives and their supervisors, CEO’s of the companies that participated in the
program, Loaned Executive Trainers, and United Way staff.
The Loaned Executives were honored at this Luncheon, and their respective companies were
also recognized. This year's LEs were: Kaity Brady, Jennifer Burnham, Tom Costello, Monica
Dandridge, Kayla Defeo, Tangela Dupree, Sheila Rewis, Jessica Roberts, and Cody Walker.

Loaned Executives work for three months out of the United Way of Central Florida's Highland
City offices. Companies loan the executives to help the community and also benefit from
skill development for their personnel. The loaned personnel are trained in public speaking
and are immersed in the health and human service community of Polk, Highlands and Hardee
counties. Company CEOs say they support the program because their personnel return to the
workplace with increased professionalism and a commitment to serve their community.
We are grateful to our LEs, and to their companies for allowing them to participate in this
important United Way program. These companies and individuals definitely know what it means
to Live United.
