Young Leaders Apron's Event
The United Way of Central Florida Young Leaders Apron’s Event, on the evening of December 8th, proved to be fun, informative, and “full-filling” (in more ways than one). The event, held at Lone Palm, provided a wonderful opportunity for networking by the over 70 individuals in attendance; including many EMERGE and United Way Young Leaders Society members.
Barney Barnett was guest speaker and he shared with
members the importance of their community involvement. Scot
Hill of Publix Apron’s showed his expertise as he demonstrated the
preparation of the wonderful meal enjoyed by attendees. We
owe our thanks to Richard Maloney, of Southern Wine & Spirits, and
Jennifer Singleton, of Delicato Family Vineyards for their amazing
selection of the accompanying wine pared to each course. Lone
Palm proved once again to be a most excellent venue for this annual
event with Wayne Raath and his wonderful staff.
