Young Leaders Society Annual Apron's Event

The holidays are here and the United Way of Central Florida is hosting several exciting Leadership Giving Association (LGA) events. Please see the schedule below for event information and dates.

On Wednesday, December 7th, the United Way will host members of the Young Leaders Society (YLS) and EMERGE Lakeland at Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland for its annual Young Leaders Apron's Event. Mike Grimes, a Publix Apron's Chef, will prepare a five-course gourmet meal for guests to enjoy as a wine sommelier pairs each course with appropriate wines. This year's menu reflects a Southern dining experience that will be perfect for any holiday gathering.

On Wednesday, December 14th at 5 PM, LGA members and their families are invited to attend our volunteer project for the Polk County School Board's Project Fil-A-Bucket at Beef 'O' Brady's in the Lake Miriam Shopping Center. Volunteers will be compiling buckets of supplies and toys for homeless children in Polk County.

On Thursday, December 15th at 5 PM, LGA members and their families are invited to attend our volunteer project at Talbot House Ministries in Lakeland where we will be serving dinner to homeless persons in our community.
