Every day that I LIVE UNITED, I see that even modest commitments to United Way can collectively build a more resilient and healthier community.

Every day that I LIVE UNITED, I know that only when our community takes charge of its own destiny is an opportunity for a better life created for all.

Every day that I LIVE UNITED, I recognize the collective efforts and talents of hundreds of volunteers is a powerful change agent.

Our community is what we make it! It is not an option to be part of advancing the common good, but a responsibility. We are all connected and interdependent.

A quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health are the building blocks which strengthen our community. That’s why United Way’s work is focused on:

• Education – Helping kids to succeed in school

• Income – Promoting financial stability and independence

• Health – Improving people’s health
