Pacesetter Campaign Set to Start

The United Way of Central Florida will kick off its annual Pacesetter campaign on July 1, 2011. Pacesetters are a group of about 25 organizations and funded partners that support the work of United Way with a summer workplace campaign. These campaigns will run between July 1 and August 15, 2011. Final results for the campaigns are scheduled to be submitted to the United Way by August 22nd.

David Robinson, CEO of DSM Technology Consultants, will serve as the 2011 "I'm Stepping Up" Pacesetter Campaign Chair. David proved his willingness to do almost anything for charity by sleeping on his company's rooftop to promote the 2010 campaign.

David has also promised to "step up and shoot for the stars" with a surprise stunt if the campaign achieves a 15 percent increase from last year's total.
