Get Easy Access to 2-1-1

Residents of Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties now have even easier access to important services. 

Because of the partnership between United Way of Central Florida and Heart of Florida United Way, 2-1-1 services are just a text message away. In addition to dialing 2-1-1 or emailing uw211help@gmail.com, all you have to do to connect to the services you need is text your zip code to 898-211. Additionally, 2-1-1 specialist are also available through live chat. Simply visit www.uwcf.org/211  and select the “Online Chat” feature.

2-1-1 is a health and human service referral hotline that allows people in Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties to call for information about and referrals to local resources. Referral specialists are available 24/7 and all calls are free and confidential.
