Tax Volunteers Help Working Families

This tax season United Way volunteers have been providing free-tax-preparation for families up to $50,000 income. This project is a partnership of United Way agencies working to increase the financial stability of working families.

Appointments are needed for sites in Bartow, Fort Meade, Lakeland, Mulberry, Winter Haven and Wauchula. Volunteers certify as tax preparers through the IRS website and then commit to a schedule of Monday nights during tax season. Let us know if you might Help Next Year!
