All Leadership givers are invited to attend. Attendees will serve dinner to youth at the George W. Harris Youth Shelter and have the opportunity to speak with them. Sometimes the right voice at the right time can turn a life around.  You can be that voice! 

The George W. Harris Youth Shelter is open to runaways and youth who are homeless or in need of short-term out of home respite placement. They accept youth who are in need of emergency shelter due to abuse and/or neglect and for youth in foster care who have experienced a disruption in their foster placement. Shelter services are provided for up to fourteen days. The program provides 24 hour, 7 day a week admission services, youth supervision, food, clothing, crisis counseling, life skills education, individual and family counseling, recreation and leisure time activities and case management services. Educational services are provided by the school district. Youth and their families are expected to actively participate in program services and abide by program rules. This is one of the many programs you support as a Leadership Giver.
