New Health Programs to be Reviewed

The programs are the result of an October 2010 request for proposals that would help our community reduce avoidable institutionalization or hospital costs.The new health programs that could potentially receive United Way Investment support in 2011 are:

- Targeted Chronic Disease Management, Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine;
- Severely-Persistently Mental Ill, Peace River Center;
- Health Care Educator Drug Abuse Treatment, Tri-County Human Services and
- Access to Health Care, HELP of Fort Meade.
