Food Pantry Volunteer - Ft. Meade

Description
United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with HELP of Fort Meade to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and hand out food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing financial education services that help families to find and maintain financial stability.
Volunteers needed on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 9 to 1 pm. Public access begins at 11 am.
