Food Pantry Volunteer - Lake Alfred

United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with Central Florida Health Care to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability.
Second and fourth Thursdays. Volunteers report from 6-10am. Open to public at 7 am.
