Food Pantry Volunteer - Lakeland

United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with Blessings and Hope to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in 17 food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability.

Every Tuesday second and fourth Tuesday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Must first check in across from Highlands Park Church at 4730 Lakeland Highlands Road. Public access at Edgewood Drive begins at 11:00 am. Volunteers needed from 10:00-2:00 pm at Blessings & Hope, 2150 Edgewood Dr, Lakeland.
