*PARTNER AGENCY VOLUNTEER PROJECTS* Bank of Central Florida has volunteers ready to serve and is seeking opportunities from United Way of Central Florida Partner Agencies. Groups of up to 10 volunteers would like to briefly tour your agency and participate in a volunteer project onsite. Timeframe: One-hour morning slots Location: Lakeland locations with indoor projects are preferred, though other Polk County sites may be considered Dates: 10 options available throughout October. Please select all dates your organization is able to host. After you submit your availability, a UWCF team member will follow up to confirm which date(s) your agency has been selected for. This is a great way to showcase your mission and engage new volunteers who are eager to get involved!

United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with Central Florida Health Care to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability. 2nd & 4th Wed. Volunteers needed from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. Public access begins at 5:30 pm.

The UWCF End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Central Florida while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability. 2nd & 4th Tuesdays. Volunteers needed from 8:30 - 12:00 pm. Public access begins at 9:30 am.

Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability. Every Tuesday second and fourth Tuesday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Must first check in across from Highlands Park Church at 4730 Lakeland Highlands Road. Public access at Edgewood Drive begins at 11:00 am. Volunteers needed from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm at 2150 Edgewood Drive, Lakeland. Volunteers needed to help with check-in from 8:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at 4730 Lakeland Highlands Rd. parking field. Please wear closed toed shoes - no sandals or flip flops.
