*PARTNER AGENCY VOLUNTEER PROJECTS* Bank of Central Florida has volunteers ready to serve and is seeking opportunities from United Way of Central Florida Partner Agencies. Groups of up to 10 volunteers would like to briefly tour your agency and participate in a volunteer project onsite. Timeframe: One-hour morning slots Location: Lakeland locations with indoor projects are preferred, though other Polk County sites may be considered Dates: 10 options available throughout October. Please select all dates your organization is able to host. After you submit your availability, a UWCF team member will follow up to confirm which date(s) your agency has been selected for. This is a great way to showcase your mission and engage new volunteers who are eager to get involved!

Food Pantry Volunteer - Poinciana

United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with Central Florida Health Care to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability. 1st and 3rd Tuesday. Volunteers needed from 8:00-12:00 pm. Public access begins at 10 am.

Time-frame: 30-minute presentation, with a 10-minute slot for agencies to speak Location: Primarily Polk County, with a few opportunities across the county line Dates: 22 options available throughout September and October (please select all dates your organization is able to present) After submitting your availability, a UWCF team member will follow up to confirm your presentation date(s). This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your mission, build relationships, and inspire those who are invested in making our community stronger.
