United Way of Central Florida is seeking volunteers along with Bartow Church Service Center to assist with food distributions as part of the UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative. Volunteers will pack and distribute food boxes that include fresh fruits, vegetables, frozen meats and more. The UWCF George W. Jenkins End Hunger Initiative works to provide healthy foods to individuals in food insecure regions in Polk County while simultaneously providing wraparound services that help families to find and maintain stability. Second and Fourth Thursday. Volunteers report from 11:30 to 3 pm. Open to public at 1 pm.

Volunteers needed on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 9 to 1 pm. Public access begins at 11 am.

Public access begins at 9:00 am. Volunteers needed from - 8:00-11:00 am.
